Located at Under the Sun Dog Training and Daycare, this state-of-the-art facility is set to host a grand opening celebration dubbed "Poochella" on Saturday, June 22.
Opened on June 17, the full-length dock diving pool promises a wet and wild experience for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Forget about humans taking a dip—this pool is strictly for our four-legged companions to enjoy.
The "Poochella" party kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m., offering a jam-packed schedule of activities. Groove to live music by MIMIC while indulging in delicious treats from local food trucks like Ciao Down, Panini Island, and the Springs Cupcake Truck. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets to relax and soak in the festivities.
Colton Johnson, an esteemed dog handler and trainer with over 25 years of expertise, expressed his excitement about expanding their vision of a premier dog destination in Colorado Springs. Alongside his wife Heather, they founded Under the Sun Dog Training and Daycare in 2011, with the new facility opening its doors in 2021 at 6540 Vincent Drive, conveniently located near Woodmen Road and I-25.
